Hide-away Lic. plates
this is really kool. ive been looking for on of these.
does anyone have these on their Camaro? how does it look vs. on the corbette and mustang? heres is a demo clip.

The Altec one (which the OP posted) sucks IMO... It has to be mounted off center and still sticks out from the car when closed.
I made my own (similar to Altec but stainless steel with ball bearing sliders) to iron out the flaws Altec's has
Here's some pics (sorry for the crappy pics, just took them at night with a camera with no screen or viewfinder):
My car was REALLY low before (hence the scratches despite the fact it has been repainted three times) and it is still low now but the bracket works great.
As soon as I get time I am going to tape it off and spray that area satin black (kind of like the 03-04 Cobras)
Also, pics came out weird but when it is retracted and locked you can't see it at all from the top of the car or the side unless you bend down...
