I just installed my front covers today also (leaving the back seat out for a while) they look real nice! Also converted from tan cloth, to ebony leather

Now lets all behave in here

Even a custom seat cover slip over the OEM foam.. I would imagine that a hand made CUSTOM seat cover might fit a tad better than these kits.. but not much.

Its not like this is some sort of el cheapo seat cover that goes over the OEM material..

I think they look VERY VERY good and it beats the heck out of what an upholstery shop would have charged you.. just my opinion

I had a quote of $1500.00+ for custom front and rear leather seats from a local upholstry shop, needles to say, they got hung-up on. Ill try to get some pics up tomorow

The seats were easy, but take time due to everything that has to be unbolted. If you are going to recover the door panels then I would recommend doing that at a different time. The door panels were the most difficult part of the installation and using hindsight I would have to say I would have rather paid someone to do them.

It took me by myself between 8 to 10 hours.

What other tools did you need? Did you need a staple gun for any portion of it?
