HELP: Smoked out taillights

Hey wuts up fellas, i jst bought a 1999 Y87 camaro, its my first car =]. The problem is, that it has some smoked out taillights, that i am not feeling, and that need to go. They are spray painted and i was wondering if u guys know what would be the best way i could take the paint off. Or would i just be better off buying brand new taillights all 2gether? Mind you, im trying to save a few extra dollars lol

paint thinner and wet sand a VERY high grit or buff them, or do all idk?

Go to the local hardware store and pick up some 1500 or 2000 grit sand paper. Use both the sand paper and the paint thinner until it's gone. Wet sand it.
