Stupid question/ thought

Now i know a stupid question deserves a stupid answer but has anyone ever done or thought about taking out the center bar of a t top fbody and making it a targa top.. just a thought i had while screwing around at work

The frame will twist, its weak enough now too much torque will even keeping the glass from going back in

You couldnt strengthen the frame from underneath the car or anything?

you could with some subfram connectors, but targa tops are just more of a pain in the *** to me. plus there are those nice holders for the t tops in the trunk, but its your call good luck

I've thought about it also, but it's best to have something to hang onto wen the t-tops are off. At least.. something for passengers to hang on to. =p
