I think it would be ok for a replacment bumper if you needed a new bumper (or for someone up grading to a LS1 front end), but I cant see enough difference in it for anyone to justify switching out a good bumper for it.

I know I'm not your target audience as I plan to get the E-1, but as far as this one goes, I actually prefer the stock lower holes. So if I had a busted cover I would spend a little more for the OEM unit. Sorry.

If I had a T/A, I would buy it. It's a subtle difference, but I like how it looks.

If that had a split/lip spoiler that would look great on my TA. And a heritage spoiler on the back!

That would be cool if it had the firebird license plate cover molded into it and I also think it would be cool if it was a little lower in front.
If I had a Formula or a TA that needed a new front bumper I would get it just because it's different but still close enough to stock to fit nicely with the rest of the car.

KLRWS6 told me he built one that was lower in front, but it kept getting scraped, so he curved the botton at that 45* angle for clearance.

Christian, is this front end built off the same mold as the E-1 with just the nose portion different?

Then, is the E-1 built off the stock front cover?

In other words, are your covers the same on the top headlight area and are they any longer or shorter than the stock unit? Maybe it would be easier to just say what is different and what is stock - shape wise.

It looks very cool and a little more aggressive than stock, nice job but as said you can't really see the difference so I wouldn't buy it for that subtle change.

Your exactly right jasonww, The e-1 bumper was made right off my stock bumper. The only thing changed was the lower vents (with the lines more defined), the reflectors deleted, i added an inch and a half lip to the very bottom to give it a lower look and of course the big openings. Now the bumper in the pics is the exact same as the E-1 bumper. The only thing we did was fill in the holes with the stock front end. The headlight area was not altered what so ever. Everything else is of stock specs. Any more questions please feel free to ask. Thanks

Oh i also forgot to mention that i made a bumper like u were describing with the bird molded in. The only problem was that i cannot sale a copyrighted product( license plate bird). Thats why i decided to make one like with the stock front end and if anybody wanted to mold the bird in they could do it before they paint the bumper. I am actually thinking very hard about doing my bumper that way. I have a few pics i can show, so you can really see what it looks like.

Oh no my bird is going in there. None of my cars have front lic. plates. The Trans Am has always sported the Firebird. Im just waiting for the dealership to recieve it. I somehow lost mine in the bumper shuffle.

Default looks good

I dont own a T/A but like what you did with the vent holes, kinda looks like brake inlet vent verses light holes myself. I like it! Be even sweeter if you could make grades to fit in there to keep the birds out at 150 LOL!!Hea boy!!!LOL!!then again birds hanging out might not look that bad LOL!!Just messing guy I like it and if its cheaper then oem i dont see you having a problem saling em. Get some grades to fit in there and some type of lip like the other guys said and your in man !then you can start on one for us Camaro guys! Right?

Default Better yet

Better yet, set it up where you can run some flex line to aim at front roters.I had my Buick GN set up like that with an aftermarket front dam i bought. Didnt need it because i had a huge Kenny Bell intercooler, so i aimed the vents at the front rotors instead !!or maybe for turbo setups like APS would be sweet or even tranny coolers Anything that would benifiet from fresh air !!Dont forget the little grades man!!LOL!!
