i was thinking towards the bottom and making that length wise they were even with the seat?
my car is red with a black theme, but like someone said, there going into the door so they will not always be visible..

I don't get why this is so complicated to you. Just lay them down on the sills and take a pic.

You can put it up front, in the middle or towards the back.
You can have it so that it is butted to to the top towards where the seat its, you can have laying in the middle, or you can have it on the very bottom.
There are multiple ways this can be layed down..
Sorry, i do not just stick it anywhere. i make sure it looks good before i commit to something
My first impression was i liked them but now im not sure especially the size. depends on the price ( i didnt see one throughout the posts) and seems they might scratch easily. I wouldnt put them on but maybe you can do something unique with them...

Chrome looks good on most vehicles as long as it is tastefully done. Don't understand how it looks good on other cars but not 4th gen F-bodys.
I personally think that a polished aluminum or similar would look better. The chrome is almost too much in this case.
Stocker, the reason I don't think it looks good on the car is because it never had any to begin with. In order to add it, you would need to add subtle tones of chrome in other areas to "blend" it together. Our cars are mostly black plastic and painted surfaces. Something with a big chrome grill ... it would work VERY well with. First car that comes to mind is the 300C.
Now, with polished aluminum or something much more subtle, I think it blends well with the car since most came with areas of that already. Also, it doesn't stand out nearly as much and detract from the "natural" beauty of our F-bods... it just enhances..

These are awful pics but just to show you an idea of where I put mine. Sorry about the filth I haven't cleaned my interior since last year. And yes they shine up nice and Im careful when getting in and out so they haven't scratched.
