Just bought some Zaino I just bought some Zaino, should be here in time for the weekend which gives me plenty of time to spend with it.

I already have claybar and stuff, gonna do everything. Last year I used that Turtle Wax Ice, and it got on the plastic trim by the windshield and its all fairly white now, any tips to clean it up? I was thinking some general purpose cleaner and a toothbrush.. Also any tips on the Zaino, what should I get to use as a towel to wipe it down, I got 3 of their applicators (zainos), so that should be good.

Tip for getting the white residue off plastic and rubber pieces: Put some peanut butter (not the chunky kind) on it, then wipe off the peanut butter. The oils in the peanut butter help remove the wax residue.
For removing Zaino, I use either a good microfiber towel or 100% cotton towels. I can't remember the last time I didn't use a microfiber towel, though.
Of course, I can't remember the last time I used Zaino either.

Also, really easy to remove Zaino if you spray some of their detail spray on the micro fibers or terry towels before you begin to remove. And, MAKE SURE you let it dry completely before trying to take it off....makes life so much easier. It will depend on conditions, and in my expierence the more Zaino you have on the car already, the faster it dries. Last week I detailed a 2007 vette and a 2008 GT500. about 70 degrees and 30% humidity. GT500 only had about 3 coats of Zaino from the past 4 months, while the vette has like 8. The vette took about 45 min. to dry completely whereas it took the GT500 a little over an hour. That was using the same mixure of the polish and accelerator.
