Default Eject!

I thought these were pretty funny, so I got one. Pretty pricey, though. I painted in the red (not very well).

Question, why do you have your e-brake on with an A4?

I always do. Its there, best to use it regularly so it doesn't freeze up on you and besides it helps when getting out of park on a hill.

Relieves all the tension that would otherwise get stored on the parking lock in the tranny. I would much rather replace the rear brake pads sooner than having to take my tranny in for repair.

For instance, when you park on a hill, it's always best to pull the e-brake up first, and then shift it into park. Otherwise all that tension builds up on that parking lock inside the tranny. You can feel it once once you put it back into drive/reverse, it jolts at you.

plus if you're on a steep hill and don't set the e-brake, the weight on the mechanism may make it very difficult to shift out of park at all...true story.

Eject Button -or- E-Brake.

I don't know where to get the Eject Button, but your car should have come with an E-Brake.

BTW, the Eject Button is funny. I like it.
