back seat removal

What tools are needed..how much weight will I save?

rear seat backs and bottoms are about 40lbs. the only tools you need are a T50 torx bit, and maybe 10 or 12mm wrench/socket for the upper seat belt assembly.

Don't make the same mistake I did and go fishing for Torx at places like Home Depot; the biggest I've found was 40 there. The automotive industry seems to use the larger sizes and you can find them at autoparts stores.

Don't buy a cheap one either. I went to Autozone and bought the cheap stuff. It worked, but I hate buying cheap tools!

I didn't use a torx bit for mine. I just found an allen head that fit in there snug and usen an extension with a socket on it as a breaker bar. Worked great for me.
