Hood pins look lame IMO....unless you have a high cowl hood or something like that, they are so unnecessary....

unpainted bodyparts are stupid.
leaving the manta would look killer...and please, for gods sake, no hoodpins (unless its a pinon hood)

i think it would look sickk -- a black ss with carbon fiber filler panel(berger), cf hood (cf manta only) and carbon fiber front 1/4 panels (pass. painted all black) with the drivers side all painted except for two grand sport stripes

I still have mixed feelings on the hood locks; The hood was too unstable without them, so it needed to get pinned, and I thought the locks were more subtle. I've had some people tell me they wouldn't do it to their car, but never had anyone say they completely disliked it. I don't think it'd be worth it if you already had an SS hood, but the change from a steel Z hood to a 14lb CF hood makes it worthwhile, and I like the look!
