Default Water in taillight (Camaro)

I'm getting water in my passenger side taillight, it isnt filled or anything, just a little condensation in the turn signal and reverse light area. im thinking maybe i should drill 2 holes through the bottom of the light to vent it a little? or do i have to replace the assembly completely?

I would remove water with a heat gun, and reseal it!

yea id think that if you drilled holes in it you would be able to stop the water from puddling up in the bottom of the light but then you will still have condensation.

I agree, plus if you make the holes you will get not only condensation but dirt... with time it'll make the chrome insides fade...

Both of mine are doing that, Its causing the "chrome" to peel and black to show on the inside, hurting the reflective properties.

I'm gonna try to take mine apart, re-spray with "chrome" spray paint, buff the plastic, and reseal them, and see how they look.

you could pick up an extra light for pretty cheap if you wanted to.
