What will I need? My 94 Camaro is currently being painted at a shop. I want to help keep the paint in excelent condition right from the shop.
what should I put on it to protect it and make it shiny when it gets out?

First check with the painter on when you can apply some polish/wax. When that time comes, give the car a good wash, a coat of polish or two and then a coat of wax. Always keep it clean with a coat polish/wax to protect the paint and it will look good for a long time.
do not wax the car for 30 days. wax seals the paint and will not allow any chemicals in the paint to evaporate. also do not cover the car for 30 days for the same reason. you can was the cash regularly though and use a polish because a polish will allow to paint the breathe. keep the car waxed regularly after the 30 days.
