I have a 98 SS and the corvette ones that are shown on that link worked just fine on mine. You just have to make a few cuts for them to fit on the F body, with a dremel it shouldn't take that long at all.

I got this set because 1998 was the first year the Z28 was hooked up with the Corvette engine. And I didn't want to go with a pair of just run-of-the-mill Corvette covers that eveyone else has.

You can get those on Ebay also.
Just need to search 'Corvette fuel rail covers'.
Or search '98-02 camaro firebird ls1 fuel, ...

The red Z06 covers are not really a good starting point anway because the F-body fits better with the 97-98 two-slot driver's side covers. The red Z06 cover only has one slot on the driver's side.
You can get by using it tho, by either cutting another slot yourself, (Which will hardly ever look good in the end, ...), or run one of the fuel lines on the underside of the cover.

And yes, they will fit the 1998 F-body application. You just won't be able to snap the clips on to the coil packs as they are in a different location that the later years. Not that big of a deal since the covers will lay where they need to anyway.
