Default First Experience with Zaino

After viewing all the hype about the Zaino products I decided I would give them a shot and purchased the 85 dollar kit. I followed the intructions as closely as possible by washing the car with Dawn Utra, then claying the entire car, washing it with the provided Car Wash Soap, then finally applying the polishes. First i applied two coats of Z-2, allowing them to dry for about 2 hours then buffing them off following by a wipe down of Z-6.

Here are some pics after just two coats:

The next day I washed the car again with the provided Car Wash Soap and applied another coats of Z-2 but this time with the additive ZFX. I only allowed these coats to dry for around 45 minutes to an hour. Again between each coat I wiped it down with Z-6

Here are some pics after 4 coats:

After only 4 coats I am very pleased with the outcome. My only complaint or question may be is that instructions stress only using a little (which I did) and it will go a long ways but it's so hard to see the polish I cant even tell if I have done an area with out really looking close at it, is it supposed to be like that?

Yes, it is supposed to be applied very thin. I find it makes things look a little too plastic-like, but a lot of people do like it and it has great durability. Looks good.

You are supposed to use ZFX mixed in Z5Pro or Z2pro for the first coat and every 10th coat. Some people use Zfx mixed in every coat. If you think it looks good now you have to try Z8. It will take it to the next level. ZPC is a good swirl remover if you have a PC.

Fixed

But in all seriousness, Z-PC is good for removing minor swirls on cars with soft clear coats. I wouldn't waste my time using it on GM clear. It has such minor diminishing abrasives that it's almost not worth it, unless your paint is already near perfect with possibly just some slight hazing or decontamination you want to get rid of.

I've used Zaino and liked the results. In my opinion it lasts longer than Meguairs, but Meg tends to look "deeper"
