We will be starting on the wide-body kit within the next couple of weeks; the shop doing the work has a couple of GM vehicles in for paint right now. You will be able to track the progress through the following two URL's:

www.sunococamaro.com

www.widebodycamaro.com

I apologize if anyone has tried to contact us and not received a response either by e-mail or phone. Just leave us a message and we will get back to you ASAP. Also, your e-mail may end up in our spam/bulk folder which is why you may not have heard from us. It happens !

I'll try to follow this thread as best I can; if you have any concerns/comments/questions I'll respond as soon as I get a chance.

Thanks !!

I was really suprised that www.sunococamaro.com was available. Trust me, the sites won't be anything spectacular. We're just going to post pics of the progress and give updates as to where we're at on the project. Don't expect any crazy videos with Pantera playing in the background, hot women and a wide-body doing a 4-wheel drift !!

That is something that we've gone back and forth on. We are going to go with glass. I personally wanted to go with steel at first, but every company I've talked to has said that there won't be any issues with cracking, flex etc...

I'm definitely going to be getting one of these kits. Couldn't believe they weren't made sooner!

Does anybody know how big we will be able to go wheel and tire wise? Will any additional modifications be needed or what?

the rear quarters probablly have to be glued and fiberglassed on. for the guy who said w2w could do this your right its already been done for the rear quarters. they made um out of sheet metal and it costs about 8000 but its about 100 man hours of work to get them done.

Are these going to be made from the thin sheet metal like they are now or fiberglass or even possibly carbon fiber?

For everyone asking about price I highly suggest you click on one of the three different links given. They all go to the site that has more information on the kit.

I believe they stated the final product would be fiberglass - earlier in the thread someone stated w2w could build sheetmetal but the price would be around 8K.
