New tips new sound?
New tips new sound? Hey guys, my tips are getting old and Im interested in getting new ones, or getem rechromed again. Im not too knowledgable about exhausts either. I have a 3800 V6, Im not even sure if there has been any mods on the exhaust because I havent done any (yet). But the previous owner might have.
I have Mecham tips right now and this is a clip of it. (really crappy camera, when I rev it sounds a bit higher in person, dont think the cam can catch it)
If I get different tips, what are some sound characteristics I would be looking at? (like deeper, raspier, etc)
Also, Ive looked on fullthrottlev6 but they just dont have the userbase as ls1tech does.

I had a firebird 3800 v6 before this car... There is no way to make it sound any better. One thing I was gonna try but never got around to is putting stock ws6 exhaust on a v6. I always imagined it would sound pretty good. But to answer your question tips won't change the sound any.
