Hey guys help me decide on a few things? Hey guys, I'm trying to decide on some things to spruce up the 'bird. It's a '99 WS.6, White. No appearance mods have been done.
This is my plan: I'm close to getting a good deal on some chrome y2k vette wheels.
So: The y2k's, charcoal metallic blackbird stripe ( I have not decided between checkered or the pin-stripe, both look great), color matched CETA bumper to match the stripes. I would also paint the Trans Am emblem on the side, and also paint the "Bird" on the front bumper. I would also black out the trans am in between the tail lights. I would possibly do some Nightshade on the tail-lights, and side-markers.
I won't be doing a black ceta, black blackbird stripe, or zo6 wheels. Theres already one of those running around and the town isnt too big.
What do you guys think? Any have any pictures possibly of similar set-ups? Also im always open to suggestions.

I'm not really a fan of Y2K rims... The NEW Z06 wheels (not the old ones which I am sure is what you see around town) look GREAT on Trans-Ams. Just putting that out there.
Anyways, I say pinstripe for the black bird stripes, ditch the TRANS-AM and side moldings all together, I like the idea of black out the back center panel but not the tail lights (too 90's IMO).
Painting the front bird is cool, but might I suggest a two-tone paint. Pick whatever colors you want but make the bird body one color and the wings another color and it will look great!
Actually its all a matter of taste....I think the Y2Ks and the new C6 wheels look WAY better on a TA than than either style Z06 wheel. And the complete opposite is true for Camaros.
Then again I also think the Y2Ks looked as good if not better than the CCWs I have now...but they are starting to grow on me!
those are some nice wheels! to the op i suggest good ol' ttIIs or Ms and the stripes u were talking about...i guess it really depends on what type of budget ur running on. Dont forget the cheap and easy mods. Side markers and corners, and !sidemoldings

Well I know there is another guy driving around town with a ceta mod, but screw him dude. I don't give a **** if anyone else has the same stuff as me, I want my car to look the best it possibly can. Here is what I think you should do to really make your car look killer.
- Gloss Black CETA
- Black Painted TTII's or Fikse FM10's
- Stainless PONTIAC Fill-In's
- Leave The Taillights Alone, But Strip The Center Section Down To Black
- Tinted Windows
- Lower It
- Stainless Front Bird
- Stainless Ram Air Letters
- No Black Bird Stripes
- Corsa Tips

Do what is best for your car and make that other guy jealous. it's not like he invented any of the mods he did, they are all very popular among our community.

I know man, but I would like something a tad bit different.
But I will definatly keep all suggestions in mind. Its hard finding mod money when your 16 and paying for your car, insurance, and gas. but we'll see how it goes!

Well since your a real "newbie" let me make a suggestion...do what YOU like to YOUR car and screw what everybody else thinks you should do to it. In the end its a lot more enjoyable to build (or mod) a car that represents your own tastes and creativity than it is to have the same old cookie cutter mods everybody on here has.
Damn I wish I had a nice car when I was 16. **** man, I had a fuggin Buick Skylark POS Edition.

I dont consider myself a total newb. This is my second trans am and ive been glued to this site for the past year just reading and not posting that much.
