Default Pin on hood question

Hello,
My hood latch has always given me some issues. I was wondering if it is possible to get a pin down hood that attaches to the factory hinges/shocks, but simply pins down in the front instead of a latch? If this is possible, how do you keep that but prevent the average joe from popping your hood in a parking lot? I believe the new Shelby mustangs are like this but i am not sure. I would like to do something along these lines so any info is greatly appreciated!

Buy the locking hood pins and just use them on your hood if you are wanting to get rid of the latch assembly.

use padlocks instead of pins

What's wrong with your hood latch? Mine wouldn't come open easily until I found the handle somehow got bent so squeezing it didn't let it unhook all the way. Bent it back and its been fine since. If that's your problem I'd check that out

my hoodlatch is just out of line from not having the support beams on it and i was just thinking of trying out pins.

Thanks for the links DopeFedZ! Any idea how those actually lock? I wonder if they lock but can be turned to unlock or if they lock lock meaning that you need a key or something to open.
