Re: which LED's do I get??? Octane: which bulbs are u running, have u added a bead of silicon, do ur bulbs leak? Bought all my bulbs on Ebay... all are hyperwhite. I'm runnin some cheapo generic 12-LED 3157s and they're dead already. New 19-LED 3157s are on the way. For the 194s... got some regular bulbs in there now, soon to be replaced by 6-LED bulbs. I don't know any of the brand names... I suppose they're all generic. Also on the way are clear side markers and red 4-LED bulbs for those. What can I say, I like LEDs. :D |
Re: which LED's do I get??? The EL12 Flasher piece is needed to be replaced also right? |
Re: which LED's do I get??? The EL12 Flasher piece is needed to be replaced also right? Gotta switch to the electronic flashers in order for the LEDs to blink with the turn signals and hazards. 2 flashers needed, $7.99 each at AutoZone. |
Re: which LED's do I get??? Don't they make an LED Bulb now that fires Around the sides as well as straight on? I assume otherwise you still have a problem with them looking like a Bright DOT thru the lens if using them in your taillights, etc. |
Re: which LED's do I get??? Don't they make an LED Bulb now that fires Around the sides as well as straight on? I've heard that they're like $50 a pair though. But they would make a difference in the front turn signals since now the LEDs point down, and you can't hardly see it at all during the day. I don't have LEDs in my tail lights.... YET! :) |
