I wasn't picking on him. I was just posting my experience with it. When I first seen it, I thought it was cool until I put it on. Hell, I might put it on again just to see what it lookes like. Maybe thin out the glitter in it to give it a slight metal flake look at certain angles, it might be alright. And yes, to each there own.

so i took a z28 and put a vtec 1.8l with a 34lb boost turbo in it, and a 500 DRY shot of nos, then i got the biggest wing i could find and screwed it on top of the second biggest i could find, got a clear plastic hood, pimped it out to run 16" rims with super-low profile tires.
when i finished all that, I put that tire gel on and decided it was too much.

cool. I really think that they should have the metallic glitter stuff in BLACK... match the tire AND make it shine out.
but... as cool and hip as the wet look is...
i'll stick with the matte black tire finish gel that i use.

JESUS!! i haven't been on this forum in 4ever, and come to find out i've been called a ***, an idiot, a loser, etc. i liked the stuff cause it was unique and not everyone else used it. call me crazy, but i get my rocks off when my car stands out for being different...because i did something that everyone else didn't think of. who gives a **** what anyone thinks? i liked it, and got a boat load of compliments when i used it. i guess thats why i got so many awards for "best appearance" at local car shows...for using dumb, stupid, gay, idiotic *** tire gel....BLOW ME HATERS!!

Don't know of any place that may carry it, but I know how to make it.
Get you a bottle of the Armour All gel tire shine and go to your local crafts store and purchase the finest grain glitter you can find and mix the two until you get the results you are looking for. If you were to go to an auto paint store you could get the pearls and other colors that have better color quality.

Haha I remember that stuff! A buddy and I used it on his crappy old car. We taped off the shape of flames and gave his car some metalic "ghost flames" with the spray on multi-coloured one. Looked great until it rained...
