Default Powder Coated some hood hinges

Just thought I would share some before and after photos of some 1955 Chevy hood hinges I just powder coated. The color is similar to Chassis Black. I sandblasted the parts before I coated them. They look better than brand new..

Did you powdercoat the springs also?!?
Won't they crack as soon as they expand/contract?!?

I did powder coat the springs and no issues with them. Powder Coating is more flexible than paint. To check the durability of the coating, we powder coated a beer can and bent it and cushed it. The coating didn't crack or peal. Another test I did was I powder coated two 1/2" galvanized pipes about 1 foot long each. I beat the pipes together like drum sticks until they were dented and the coating was fine.
