id say NEITHER
a just looks out of place -- b is wayyy to big for a daily driver and i cant stand how the air just passes through the hood
i would purchase these hoods - in the following order

2 OEM 98-02 SS Hood

B, ive got mine on the way 
. i wanted to keep the look of an SS but with a more aggressive look. and just to let you know i mailed back my TB last week so u should have it soon, thanks again for the help. kyle

A : looks horrendous lol no need for a classic vette stinger hood seen em on lt1's but not ment for the ls1 by far

I like the SS hood, the whole idea was for clearance if need be. The Stingray is ol school so threw it out there. IMO the Sunoco detracts from the fact its an SS. I slightly higher rising SS hood would be nice but the one just doesnt look right, maybe its the picture.
Wow, people should read a thread before posting. He needs a taller hood for clearance, so your stock SS, ultra-z, etc suggestions won't work. He's not buying a hood to buy a hood, a certain function is involved.
