So i'm wanting to put sound deadening material throughout my car but i've been reading on here and there are so many brands and ways that people do it. I would like to quiet it down as much as possible without adding a ton of weight 50-80lbs would be ok. If you could recommend what brand you guys used, how many layers you put down, and how well it worked out for you I would appreciate it.
Thanks guys
Thanks guys

I put down 160sqft of Damplifier from Second Skin.
On top of the Damplifier I went with some duct foam.
All together I added about 90lbs to the car.
Layers depends upon where you're laying it.
The wheel wells, doors, etc. need extra layers.
Last August I laid 150sqft of the deadener throughout the car but I did not touch the doors.
This past week I FINALLY got to the doors. (Because both of my window motors died.
)
I can't tell you how much of difference that 10sqft of deadener made.
Definitely worth the money if you're willing to add a few pounds.
