Default water spotted glass?

Im trying to clean my car up so when I take some pictures of it when the wheels come in on thursday. The paint is not perfect, but I probably put more miles on my car weekly than most of you do in a year.

My problem is the outside of my glass seems to be water spotted. No matter what I use to clean them it is always there. Is there anything that anyone knows of to get rid of it? Is there some kind of glass polish? Thanks for any help

I know i cant use just strait steel wool, so what kind of compound do I use with it? Is there a glass polishing compound or something like that? Or will metal polish work?

A little yellow bottle called Spot-X does the trick, though its quite a bit of work. You use it on the yellow/green sponge, on the rougher green side.

I use a 50/50 combination of distilled water and white vinegar with a wadded up newspaper. If that doesn't work, I substitute 0000 steel wool (available at any hardware store) for the newspaper.

My windows were absolutely horrendous i tried many methods, and the one that worked was using 0000 Steel wool with Bruces GSR water spot remover. Just make sure you have a lot of water around to make sure it doesn't stay on your paint.
