I know that "Tom The Roofer" removed his stock carpet and went with a boat carpet or something like that. <img src="images/icons/confused.gif" border="0"> We haven't heard much from him in a while. I think he saved like 14 lbs. or something like that. I'll have to do some searching.

I've seen some that was ultra light but not form fitted and would take some work to make it fir well.

I can't recall off-hand where Tom got his, but for some reason I think he went to a auto upohlstry shop ( could be wrong ), best to ask him direct.

Miami Rubber, Agate 8275 for the ebony interior like in my Formula. 18oz per sq yard. The local trim shop wants $19.95/yd. I'm waiting for a buddy with some contacts to see if he can get it cheaper. I called Miami Rubber and they won't sell to the public.

The carpet has just a bit of rubber backing to keep it from tearing easily. It's going in my car this winter. Take care.

I found a place in WI that could do it, OEM style, many colors, and about 6 lbs. All fitted.

www.LS1speed.com has the info, email Tom, but be warned it's gonna be like $200 for the carpet... I'm holding off for now, one of my buddies is supposed to get one very soon, I want to see how it fits.
