Racing Harnesses

Racing Harnesses
Is there any way to mount a 4 point (5/6 point with submarines) on / around the stock (cloth) camaro seats? They don't have headrests, so I don't know if that presents a problem for routing the shoulder belts around the top of the seats or what. There's the support for the shoulder belt (factory) on one side of the seat already, do we need to just mount one on the other side? I've got no idea. Help is appreciated. I'm considering a harness bar (bolt-in/out), but that adds $220+ to the cost of the harness ($70 race, $120ish SCHROTH street legal).
So, has anyone mounted a harness to a stock no-headrest camaro seat? I could fabricate mounts on the flat surface (trunkish area) behind the rear seat, instead of harness bar, but that's kinda far back, and I dunno how long the straps are.
I want a harness for autocrossing. Nothing full-blown road race (i'd get a cage), just something to keep me connected to the car. If I can mount a schroth for the streets too, i'll do that. Decisions decisions ... budget is a consideration to the point that i'd rather not have to get a harness bar.
Post some pics of your harness installs!

P.S. my harlan shift light (blue) is here. it's my thanksgiving project along with a custom fan switch, once i return from school for the 4-day break.

Re: Racing Harnesses
I have a Camaro and was worried about the same issue with the seats. I have my harness shoulder straps mounted to the crossbar and so far no one has said anything. I just pull them into place when I strap in. I've passed tech at Cecil, MIR, & Capitol.
BTW, get a cam lock, they are nice feature.
Be sure to check out the East Coast Board and introduce yourself. We have a big group from the DC area. <img src="images/icons/cool.gif" border="0">
