I'm gonna get the Hella 165mm freeform H4 bulb sealed beam conversion kit and I want some 4500k looking HIDs, nothing blue just pure white.
The kit has the option between 60/55w, 100/55w, and 100/80w Xenons. How would these compare to say some ebay H4 HID kits? And what would be the best one to get?

I had the 100W/80W halogen lamps with an upgraded harness in these housings. They were really bright but you won't get quite that pure white HID color unless you go with HIDs. You can run the 60/55's with the stock wiring but above that, safe to go with a harness.
Here are a couple pics from wayyyyy back. I am horrible at taking night pics but they did a good job for halogens.

They aren't as bright unless you go well over 6k in color temp. You can just get the low wattage lamps and freeform housings for now and always drop in an HID kit if you want later. See how you like it before you spend a bunch of money. Plus putting HIDs in the halogen housings will produce glare. These were not bad with my kit but I can't speak for others.
