Default Leaking air from my E.T. Streets

Ran over a nale last week with one of my E.T. Streets. Had a plug put in, but I know this won't be enough for racing.
If I have it patched from the inside will that be enough or am I going to have to have to put in a tube.

Thanks,
Chuck

E.T. streets are suppose to use tubes anyway. I know many people don't use tubes in the E.T. streets but they should.
