Default Firebird/Formula Hatches

Is there any difference between the 93-97 hatches and the 98-02 ones?

Thanks

my old formula hatch from a 99 is now on a 97 lt4 firehawk who also has my old hawk wheels as well. So it will fit.

When I swapped out my hatch from my 95 to one from a 2000 T/A, the only difference I found was the connector that hooks to the harness that powers the third brake light and defroster. Other than that they were identical. Just had to cut and splice.

an lt1 trans am hatch is actually lower than an ls1 hatch. The lt1 lowers out more than the ls1 which by contrast sticks into the air. Theyre talking about formula hatches which are identical.

The Trans Am high rise wings are all the same pieces. The only difference was the 93 trans am had a low rise spoiler/hatch like the firebird's and formula's standard.

94 and up TA has the same spoiler.

I had a 94 and it had the low rise, I searched back then and read somewhere that 93-94 models ordered with non-z rated tires came with the low rise and a speed limiter at around 108-110 mph, 115 mph cluster..... on 95 it was an option.

Either way there was no low rise trans am hatch, aside from the stock firebird one.

All Firebird hatches 93-2002 are the same.

All Trans Am Hi-Rise 93-2002 spoiler are the same.

Only difference is the wiring harness previously mentioned on 98-2002 models.
