headlight bearing part # ?
headlight bearing part # ? I have a 99 firebird and I'm looking for the plastic piece that wraps around the bolt that takes a star bit. I can't find mine and I can't find one online. anyone have any ideas? In case it's not clear enough, the headlight rotates on 2 of these and mine are missing. Thank you in advance
I can try tomorrow, but this comp sucks sometimes with my camera. If you take apart the headlight, you''ll notice it rotates on 2 bolts/bearings that take either a torx or a star bit (I thought it was a torx). They both have plastic sleeves on them. I need those sleeves lol
no, hmm this si hard to explain 
Lets try it this way:
1.) take off the cover to your headlight
2.) look behind the actualassembly and you'll see a pretty decent size head on a bolt that takes I believe a star bit (can't remember)
. It also has a nut on the opposing side
3.) Remove this bolt and nut and there will be a plastic sleeve on the bolt.
If someone could remove this and take a pic, I would greatly appreciate it, as both of mine are missing and my headlight does not lay straight. The stealership doesn't even know where to look.

I know exactly what you're talking about. It's a flanged plastic sleeve bearing that's split down the length at an angle ... right?
Number 5 is the pivot bolts (#11609989) but the sleeves aren't pictured ...
