Default new front clip installed on black TA

Well, I had a busted fender on the car from a bad night of racing, as well as a "worn" front clip from rubbing, and general abuse for 117k miles on the car. We decided it was time to replace the fenders....finally after about 1 year! I'm still waiting on the new fog lights to show up, but i was too excited to wait, haha.

anyways, here's pics of the car guys. It's more of a drag car, obviously, so take it easy on me. It's not a full out show car like some of the guys beautiful cars on here have. I am finally proud to pull it into a cruise in, and that is good enough for me!

Nice car. I'd just pop the Ls1 emblems off.

Thanks man! I was wondering if anyone would notice it, or how long it would take before someone noticed, haha. I got to give a big thank you to my buddy, tricked-out-toy on the board here. He's the goofball that opened his mouth and said "you know what, that would look awesome molded in...." Yep, after the 11th hour, it wasn't such a great idea anymore!

I will say it turned out cleaner and sleeker than i think we both expected!

Question for those that take a look:

I feel like with the new front clip the car, or at the least, the nose needs to drop about 3/4 of an inch. I am also debating lowering the rear the same as well.

thoughts?

i like the molded front bird, looks real clean. Nice TA. side note take the ls1 badges off if it was in another font than maybe but not really digging it. But if you like it that's all that matters

For the Ls1 emblems: I put them on the car only because EVERYONE has a black WS.6 Ram Air TA. That was the only way you could tell my car apart from the "crowd" at the track and car shows....

I think i am going to change it up this winter and replace them with: LQ9

hahaha

Yea,

They were the identical brackets to the one on my TA bumper man. I don't know what to tell you. I know there are also some brackets that hold the bumper in towards the body on the side. That sucks, because i know you said you had a big gap in yours. this mounted up perfectly(thank god, haha)

Thanks for the kind words man!

I have always liked the look of the formula bumper, just not the rest of the car. i really liked how it cleaned up the front end on the TA. I still think it needs to be lowered ever so slightly so that it looks a little cleaner down the side, but that's an easy job(Hal Qa1's)

At first I really wasnt sure about the formula bumper but after smoothing out the plate and seeing it out in the sun (and finally being able to look at the pass side without cringing ) I really think it looks better than the TA bumper. if you went back to street wheels I think my opinion might change but with the slicks and skinnies that front end looks great.

As for the ride height. probably a .5-.75" in the back and thats it. probably just pulling the isolator would do it. lemme know when you wanna do it.

your gonna have to take the LS1 stickers off after the shootout I dont think its gonna have an LS1 anymore!?
