Damnit! I thought I was the only one thinking of doing a stripe like that. Looks killer, would have been a tad bit better if the stripe would have ended in a similer shape as the front bumper...
Looks great

That looks friggin sweet!! ONLY thing is just what a few have already said, "flow with the grill contour" or give it it's own aggressive beginning. Regardless, B/A idea that turned out well!!!

Hey men, thank you for all of the comments.. I thought about doing what you all have mentioned. However, i am going for this look.. I think i got pretty close!! I laid the stripe out myself, as my painter wanted to make sure that it was "Exactly" what i wanted.
Thanks again!! Also, thanks for sticking to the subject! ( The hood)..
These local TX guy's are killing me in the TX section! The overall census is that everyone seems to like it, that's Great! Bottom line is, I like it!! Everything else is simply fluff..
Thanks again.

^^Are you going to put any numbers on the side of the cowl like the DH car above?
Personally, I think you should. Kind of adds that finishing touch... Like the difference in a painted car without emblems versus the finished one with emblems back on.
Regardless, again, SWEET
