Color matched wiper cowl????

Color matched wiper cowl???? Has anyone smoothed and painted their wiper cowl area to match their car?
The reason I ask is I saw a picture of a c5 corvette and they had painted the cowl to match the car.
I wonder how that would look on a Trans Am / Camaro?
Maybe I'll try that.

I had a post on here a while back when I did this to my LPM Trans Am. When I went to put the car back together I was just not happy with the way it turned out, and I did not want to take the time to sand the entire thing smooth again. Maybe this winter I will tear it back out and re do it. But for now I just scuffed the paint a little bit and shot it in flat black. It still looks 1000x better than stock

I agree that color matching the wiper blades is a little extreme, but I'm seeing that is a typical theme with some corvette owners. They like to either paint or chrome EVERYTHING.

Hey Fatdave, if you have any pictures, could you send them my way. I too am Light Pewter Mettalic, so I'm curious how it would look.
My car is a weekend garage queen that sees less than 1000 miles a year, I'm tempted to remove the wipers all together.
I know I know, not legal, but neither is the motor work and I see to be fine with that.
