tinting the back window question
Okay I just had my tint done today, 5% 3 ply all the way around, its drying now out in the sun.
the guy applied it with a heat gun, and the piece for the rear glass is one piece.
to deal with the "dots" he sanded them slightly to help the tint stick better.
however after a few hours I just looked and there are noticeable bubbles forming around the "dots" will these go away or just get worse?
there are bubbles on the driver side (maybe 3) and the passenger side has quite a few, he said not to worry that these would go away within 2 days...if not to give him a call.
is this normal? tis my first car tinted....

the "dots" at the top of the rear window will make it almost impossible to the tint to stick. I have the same problem with the top also. If there are bubbles in the side windows there is a chance the sun light/heat will make them go away but chances are they will not if you have a bunch of them. You might need to take it back to him but time will tell.
Usually they should be able to squeegee them out right off the bat or use the heat gun on them.
Im not a professional tinter but that was my experience when mine got done.
