LT1 seats from a vert into an LS1

LT1 seats from a vert into an LS1 I have leather seats that came off of a lt1 vert that I put into my 2000 ls1 car. Im trying to bolt the plastic seat belt plates from my ls1 car into the seats but the seats dont have the holes to bolt to. Im afraid to rip through the leather to find the holes. Do you guys know of a way to find the holes to screw into without guessing?
