Guys with no carpet

Guys with no carpet How bad is the road noise? It's been awhile since I drove in a car with no carpet, and I can't remember how much louder than stock it is. I want to say not that much louder.

depends on your exhaust setup alot.
If it exits out the rear...its not to bad. Anything that dumps underneath the car...well is deafening <img src="gr_grin.gif" border="0">
road noise isn't any big deal.

Re: Guys with no carpet It's been a long time since i did the "no carpet" or better know as "theft recovery racing" mod. But Larry's comments were right on.
Keep the exhaust out the back and its not bad at all.
I like the interior with carpet much better now.

Re: Guys with no carpet I took my carpet out and can say the carpet weighs more then the stuff under it.I have the whisper catback and noise level is not that bad even after driving 300 miles to a track. <img src="graemlins/burnout.gif" border="0" alt="[Burnout]" /> The only difference is that the radio has to be a little loader . <img src="gr_grin.gif" border="0">
