Default Cleaned up the bird for some pics

The car had some pretty bad swirl marks and light scratches in the clear coat when I picked it up, so I called up Steve at Tropicare and made a shopping list. Here's what I ended up doing 1) One pass with Menzerna Super Intensive Polish using the Porter Cable 7424 with the orange pad 2) 2 coats of TC-3 Tropicare sealant by hand 3) 2 coats of TC-2 Tropicare liquid wax "black pudding" by hand. After a good hour of buffing with the SIP, the results were amazing. I don't know how well the Intensive Polish works, but the Super Intensive Polish is breathtaking. After only one pass over the whole car, I can honestly say that 99% of the scratches and swirls are gone. I just slapped the sealant and wax on right after the SIP. No other polish was needed. Anyway, the SIP was well worth the money. Thanks a lot Steve. Here are some quick pics. I didnt have time to clean the wheels up or shine the tires, so Ill have to take some better pics later on. She won't be clean for long cuz the cam is going in next month. Enjoy!!

Well, I just picked it up a couple months ago. I already have a lid, FRA, headers, catback and cutout. Its funny though, cuz usually by this time I would have the engine torn apart, ready to throw heads and cam in. Ive had quite a few LS1 cars and they dont stay stock for more than a few hours Anyway, I have an F13 coming this week that ill be throwing in soon I ususally dont put a cam in unless Im doing heads at the same time, but Im trying to take it easy on my rear end cuz I wont be in the market for a 9" for a while. I also dont have a lot of spare cash right now. I will be throwin some good suspension at the car though. I cant wait to get this F13 in!!!
