Default Securing Optima Battery?..

Guys this battery has been in my car for a while but I notice that its NOT strapped down properly. I can move it around pretty easy. Whats everyone doing to keep these batteries from jumpin around underneath the hood?
thanks

Well I had to do two things....

1. On the tray I cut the lip off of the left side .

2. On the wedge that clamps the battery, I ground the center to conform to the center cell of the battery.

worked great

Pretty much sums up what I had to do too.

I got both of mine to fit in the stock tray. For the mount I just got a file and ground it to conform the Optimas cells. Looks wavy.

I've got the small red-top under the hood right now and didn't have to do anything to mount it in the factory tray. Nice and solid.
