Getting scratches out of fine plastic

What can I use to get scratches out of fine, thin plastic? I've used mothers metal polish on some harder plastic and it worked wonders, any reason not to try on thinner stuff?

Novus 3, then 2 and 1. It's 3 seperate bottles that you do in 3 steps. Works REALLY good.

Novus will work but Mothers has a plastic polish you can buy locally that works well.

I also have a little 12.00 bottle of stuff I havent used yet, wicked expensive.
