Default a4 shifter

Can someone tell me if theres a way to shorten the shifter on the auto? im not feeling the auto height lol its on an 01 camaro vert.

It's an Auto.. how often you have your hand on it moving it..lol

If you want to shorten it for looks, that can be done easily really. Just take the **** off, and cut the Shaft and the inner Shaft. I'd use a Dremel. Make sure you cut equal lengths off of each one, then grind in the notches for the Staple or Clip that holds in the Shifter ****.

If you get it apart, you will know what I mean. I'd say if you bout an inch off of it, it'd probably look pretty sweet.
