Try posting in the Automatic Trans Section, but my friend has a very similar cam and has a 4000 stall with his. the car launches sweet. if you are looking for more drivability and still feel a kick, you could go with a 3600 w/lockup. you definately want to go with a lockup if you want to drive the car for any distance otherwise your milage will suck *****

KW,
We offer a 3600 stall billet street converter for your application. It has great street manners and you should see 7-8-tenths gain at the track with it.We also have higher stall converters that dont drive as good but give you a better 60 foot. If you have any questions please call me at 1-866-726-8358.This is the link to uor sale ad for LS1 Tech user thies month

Do some research on converter companies, there are a lot out there. Make sure you get a converter with a billet front so you can get a big lock up clutch in it. Stall wise 3600+ is what I would suggest. Our 4C is a perfect blend of performance and street manors. Everyone is amazed on how well it drives and preforms at the track. Good luck with your decision.

Yes, you deffentaly need a converter with that big of a cam. The main reason is just driveability. Without a converter you wont be able to keep you car still at stoplights and stop signs, and the overall manner of you'r car will be better. Plus they really wake up an a4 car. do it right and get a converter. I reccomend EDGE but do your research and call around.
