Converter install problem... HELP!!!!!

Default Converter install problem... HELP!!!!!

I just installed a Vig. 3200 on a 2000 LS1. I'm getting all sorts of misfires in like every cylinder. What could be wrong? Also I have to give it lots of gas to get the car to start moving is this normal? Can someone please help me!!!

TTT. Same thing's going on with mine I got the TCI 3000 Im gonna double check all my wires and make sure they are getting good flow through them and if not I couldnt tell you . I'll let you know what's up when I check them

Did you autotap your car and see the extra misfires? If so, this is normal. Remember that your converter is lighter and doesn't affect the crank in the same way as the stock converter. After a converter install your car will feel completely different. Your car will require more to get it going because of the higher stall speed. This is the same on any type of higher stall converter that you put in the car. If you did not autotap the car and you just notice a choppy feeling at idle, this is also normal because of the weight decrease. I hope this makes sense. If you have any questions or anything I say doesn't make since.. feel free to ask! I will try to explain in more detail.

I agree, you need to atap the car. You might also try giving the car a little more air at idle. Turn your idle set screw on the TB by 1/2 turn open and see if that helps.

Welcome to the world of a looser converter. All high stalls do this. For the first week, try to stop looking at the tach and turn up the stereo so you don't focus on the issue. After that you'll be much more adjusted and enjoy the awesome power a high stall provides.
