Does anybody have a chart showing wire colors and pin locations for the tranny harness on a 4l60e and 4l80e? Specifically I am concerned with the big round connector on the passenger side. I am converting a harness from a truck with a 4l80e to work on a 4l60e and I don't want to have to buy the $120 shop manuals if I don't have to.

 

This is viewed looking down into the case connector from above BTW...

A - Shift solenoid A
B - Shift solenoid B
C - EPC High
D - EPC Low
E - +12VDC input
L - Trans temp sensor signal
M - Trans temp sensor ground
N - PSM range A
P - PSM range C
R - PSM range B
S - 3-2 downshift solenoid
T - TCC solenoid

I don't have info on the 4L80e unfortunately..

 

Thanks-that is what I was looking for. I could still use it for the '80 if anybody has it. I have the PCM pinouts for the 4l60e so maybe I can trace wires between the PCM and the connector and make some kind of sense out of it!

 

since a 4l80E does not have a 3-2 down shift solenoid,the only difference in the pinouts involves terminals S & T.

S-TCC control on the 4L80E/3-2 solenoid for 4L60E

T-not used on the 4L80E/TCC control for 4L60E
