Question Which one should I chose? (oil cooler)

I have a 240sx with an LS1 and a Auto 4L60e gearbox on it... and Im kinda confused on which oil cooler I should install...

My first option is a cooler with a Fan, due to some reasons, first I live in the middle east, and temperatures are high here... second is because I race alot, and I know that the 4l60e has alot of heat issues that cause it to break down fast...

My second option is a normal cooler without a Fan, would this be enough for my application? I mean I was thinking that my car is actually light in weight so this will cause less need of a cooler with a fan...

So I'm stuck here and I need help, I will give u more info below:

Cooler with fan shipped to Beirut, Lebanon = 230$
Cooler without fan = 100$

Which one should I go with...

Thanks

I have a Hayden Rapidcool from Advanced Auto. Its a large cooler meant for cooling motor homes and costs ~$50.

Its always a good idea to have a transmission temp gauge to keep an eye on things and if a regular cooler isn't enough you could upgrade.

How much does a transmission temp guage cost?

I need more replies from people with regular transmission coolers without a fan... did you ever consider going with a cooler that has a fan because the normal one isn't doing the job good enough?!

Thanks
