When i'm going anywhere in between 40 and 70 and mash the throttle the transmission hiccups you could say. It'll downshift, lag, then kick in as if someone gave it a push. At higher speeds it lags badly and sometimes even slips. It does not do this in first gear, or third(i think, haven't been that fast in a while lol)
What's funny is when i got the car 2 years ago and it did this very slightly, almost unnoticeable, the car was stock. Then i got a tune, and the tranny came alive, it was perfect. but then last spring i had the starter bendix or whatever it is, pop out and start grinding against the flywheel. it cracked the flywheel, but my car is covered under warranty(of course i wouldn't tell them about the tune![Devil](https://ls1tech.com/forums/images/smilies/LS1Tech/gr_devil.gif)
),so i get it fixed and i know they reflashed it and didn't care until i noticed the down shifting to second was terrible. Now if i downshift to second myself, and then hammer it, then i throw in drive again while still at WOT, and it works flawlessly. I know they dropped the transmission out when fixing it too
my car is still covered under warranty, and will take it in soon
I just thought i'd get other opinions too
and on another note, at WOT i can hear the starter bendix hitting the flywheel again at high rpm's, especially in second, but it does it in first too
any help would be greatly appreciated, if this is a repost i'm srry, i searched for this and didn't find anything
i'm not an expert on cars either but know how they work pretty much, so i'll do my best to understand the answers, but please forgive me if i don't though and have to ask questions

hey, when you gun it at about 70mph, does it slip so bad it bounces of the rev limiter? and what about a grinding noise at high rpm's, almost sounds like rocks coming out of the tires?
