Is this a good idea?

Is this a good idea? I was wondering, should I buy one of those manual fan switches just for while i'm at the track? Cuz I already have the fans set to come on sooner with edit while the car is on, but I was thinkin I should buy a manual fan switch that I could just throw on after a run and the car is off and sittin in the lanes, so it helps cool down the engine and tranny. Would that work, or does it not make a diff since the engine is off and no fluid is running through the radiator and trans cooler? Let me know what you guys think, thanks for any help!
