4L60E a couple of quick questions, not technical I have a 1999 Firehawk with a 4L60E with 3.23 rear gear, when coasting, especially on long downhill grades the car has engine braking like the convertor is locked up but unlocks when you touch the brake.
So on a long downhill letting the car coast the engine rpm wll match the road speed like a manual. On my 1998 suburban with 4l60e when you coast downhill the rpm goes back to idle and has no engine braking. Are they just programmed different?
