Default Just dropped off the trans

Dropped it off at a reputable highly reccomended local builder.

I know for sure it's getting:

TCI 3000 (i know i know, getting a vig or yank when i can afford it)
Borg Warner clutches
Best sunshell
Uprgraded 2-4 band
upgraded pump
trans go shift kit
New servo
deeper pan
trans cooler

and some other things.

How long do you guys think this will hold up running around 7.5-6's in the 1/8th?

If you give all those parts to someone who's never built a trans, it's a guess.
Give it to someone who's developed trans parts that are now in use, it'll probably hold up.
In other words reputable is a very misused word.

Ok by reputable i mean:

A guy that builds many of them for cars making alot more power than me.

A guy who was reccommended to me from 3 random people at the dragstrip and countless more on the local board.

Basicallly i'm saying he knows how to put one together. Granted, i'm not getting a fully built unit like a performabuilt level 2/3 or anything, but having most of the parts replaced with upgraded versions. Realistically, if it can hold a year i'll be fine. I don't plan on running faster than 7.50 anytime soon because i don't feel like putting a cage in a daily driver lol

It sounds like you already know your answer. People on this board cannot predict what you're asking. Not knowing the guy, nothing.

Just let him build it, put your mind at ease, and know it will work.

Wait and then you throw in the and some other things, further clouding the prediction.

You sound like you have confidence in the guy, and he's highly recommended. Thats all you need to know. Sounds like it'll be fine to me.

I don't question the BUILDER.

I just was wondering about the build it's self. I should have been more clear.

I'm pretty sure it is basically this:

https://www.700r4l60e.com/store/prod...&cat=55&page=1

with a trans go shift kit if it doesn't say that on that kit
