The runs were at Thunder Valley in Noble, Ok. at the Ford Vs Buick shootout so the elevation and DA are ALOT better than in Amarillo! Best runs in Amarillo are 12.1 @111 all motor and 11.1 @ 124 with Nitrous. Don't think I've seen your car either, what color?

Yea, I know all about Thunder Valley air! That's my favorite track to go to that's close to us. Those are still good numbers for Amarillo, I'd be happy with high 11's in mine on juice.

I just bought my black T/A a couple of months ago. It looks just like every other black T/A with ZR1 wheels on it! I've only been out on Sat. a couple times, I mainly go out on Sunday since my daughter races a jr. dragster. I ran my car the last weekend this year.

I'll shoot ya a PM later and we can BS, you're setup is real close to what I'm thinking of doing. I'm thinking of the SS3600 and from what I've gathered you've got a pretty good converter there. Don't know if the swap would be worth the extra $$$/hassle. Just shoot more juice to it....it'll either go faster or spray parts all over the track!!!!

I think a ss4000 would be a good choice. I have been 1.5xs 60' with bolt ons and a cam. It seems pretty tight so it should be able to handle spray. I am going to hit it with a 125 shot, should go 10s no problem.

That's what I think my car should be capable of....60's in the 1.5 range all motor, the Yank SS4000 is looking pretty good!

Don't put down the SS3600 just yet. I have one with a 2.2 STR (Stall Torque Ratio)

Do you know your stall's STR? It'll hit harder off the line with a 2.5 STR and I've seen some with 3.0.

Since mine is lower, its easy off the line and more efficient up top equally faster ETs and more mph in the 1/4 if I have read the correct info on this site.

So if you are dead hooking off the line, the only thing i could think of recommending is knowing your STR, QA1's on the front and maybe some weight off the front of the car.

Mine is a 2.5 STR, really is a great convertor, no complaints. I'm going to look at taking some weight off the front and some good shocks. Not wanting anything major in the suspension area and wanting to keep the 10 bolt, still thinking about the SS4000 though (2.6 STR)

You are making more power than me, theres no reason u shouldnt be able to cut 1.5 60' with an ss4000. Hell I cut low 1.60s with just headers and ls6 intake. Higher I stall it up the better 60' i will cut but its also harder to hook up.
