Are you going to take it out, and put it back in yourself?
Are you wanting a stock rebuild, a stronger than stock rebuild, or a fully built unit?
What are YOU wanting out of the Transmission? Are you wanting to have a unit that can be daily driven and beat on occastionally? Are you wanting one that can handle plenty of abuse at stock/bolton levels?

The guys at performabuilt (and i'm sure FLT as well) are very helpful, even lending thier time to help me out, and offer advice when i told them upfront that i can't afford one of their units at this particular time.
Personally, i've gone with a highly reccomended builder in my hometown. We've talked about it and i've let him know what i want, and what my expectations are, and while i won't be getting a bulletproof trans, i'll get one that can withstand a little abuse untill i finish college, and hopefully get into a career. That being said, i can assure you that when i can afford it, i'll be grenading this trans and looking into one of the sponsors available transmissons.
